My Smartphone

Hello dear bloggers! I’m going to talk about my favorite piece of technology. As you can see, this is my cell phone, a common smartphone model Samsung Galaxy W.

I got my smartphone a year ago, free of charge thanks to my plan with the company VTR, where I renew the mobile every 18 months.

Using my cell phone is pretty simple when you acquire the habit. It has few buttons and it is mainly managed through its touch screen.

I use my smartphone every day without exception, from morning till night, and I see it all the time. It is a regular part of my daily life.

The best of my cell phone is that it serves for many purposes, such as call and to receive calls, use Facebook and Whatsapp, listening to music, watching videos on YouTube, seeing how much more come the bus, playing Pokémon Go, etc.

The times that I have stayed with my cell phone battery zero for a few hours, I feel stressed out to solitary confinement, unable to check my Facebook or without playing Pokémon Go. I think my life would be boring, but quieter without my smartphone.

Why I'm studying Journalism?

Hi bloggers! In this time, I will talk to you about why I decided to study the Journalism Program at the Universidad de Chile.

In 2013, I took the PSU (University Selection Test) and I entered the Commercial Engineering Program at the Universidad de Chile the next year. This program is in the FEN (Faculty of Economics and Business). I studied only one semester there, because I didn’t like the atmosphere and I didn’t like the orientation of knowledge of that faculty.

In the second semester of that year, I decided to study Journalism at the ICEI (Institute of Communication and Image), because this program opens the doors to many possibilities of topics to cover, such as sports, politics or economics, but from the critical position of a journalist.

Today, I’m happy and satisfied in this program. Apparently, I made the right decision.

Who am I?

Hello, dear bloggers! Today I will tell you who I am.

I hope you like my first post and you are all welcome to my new blog.

I was born on November 3rd, 1994 in Santiago, Chile. I live with my parents Marcela and Francisco, who have been married for 23 years. I have a younger brother named Enzo, who is 18 years old.

I'm a football fan since always, and I am a fan of Colo Colo too. My big idols are Lionel Messi and Alexis Sánchez. I play football at the center forward position, where my great mission is to make goals, and I do it good.

I studied at Colegio Alicante in my primary education. After of that, I studied at Instituto Nacional for seven years. I’m studying journalism at Universidad de Chile in this moment. The career has five years and I’m in the second year today.
